Induction Day   

•       Induction Day  Newly admitted students of BFA & MFA were welcomed to the College to attend the ‘Induction Ceremony’ along with their parents to meet the Faculty, Staff and students on 25th July, 2010. Dr. S.K. Vij, Dean, Students Welfare, University of Delhi, was the Chief Guest.

Annual Art Exhibition – 2011

      The 58th Annual Art Exhibition of the College was organized between 09th to 16th March, 2011 in the premises. The event as inaugurated by Dr. Kiran Walia, Hon’ble Lt. Ministerfor Social Welfare,Women & Child Development & Languages Govt. ofNCT of Delhi. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Shri Anand Prakash, IAS, Pr. Secretary, Dte of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Shri Ved Nayar, Smt.Gogi Saroj Pal, Eminent Artist and Dr. (Smt) Anupam Mahajan, Dean, Faculty of Music & Fine Art, University of Delhi.

Samhita: 2010 - 11 Seminar Cum Wokrshop

The Annual National Level Seminar cum Workshop was hosted by the   College from 25th to 30th October, 2010.  68 senior Fine Art students from 13 premier Art Colleges in the country were invited to participate, interact and work in the various mediums along with faculty and students of the College. The event was inaugurated by Shri Anand Prakash, IAS, Principal Secretary, Deptt. of Training & Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, in the College premises

Annual Sports Meet
                               
·         The College organized the Annual Sports Meet at the Karnail Singh Stadium, New Delhi on 25 February, 2011.

The Convocation Ceremony  

·         for the student batches of BFA & MFA (of academic session 2009) was held on 3rd December, 2010 in the College premises. Smt Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt of NCT of Delhi, was the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries included Shri Anand Prakash IAS, Principal Secretary, DTTE, Padmashri Shri Raghu Rai, Eminent Photographer, Padmashri Shri Manu Parekh, Eminent Artist, Dr.S. K. Vij, Dean Students Welfare, and Prof. (Mrs.) Anupam Mahajan, Dean, Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, University of Delhi. 89 BFA students and 30 MFA students received their respective Degrees in the ceremony.

Annual Study Tours -2010

The annual education study tours in two groups for the III year specialization classes of the three disciplines are scheduled to be conducted as detailed below.
Group-I (painting & sculpture) from 11th to 31st january, 2011, of a group of 51                students, will be led by sh. Ashok ninawe, and accompanied by sh pardeep kumar chauhan, sh. Manoj kumar, ms. Archna sharma, along with attendants  sh. Gopi and sh. Mahender singh.
Group-II (applied art) from 10th to 26th january, 2011, a group of 70 students, will be led by sh. Rajkumar h. Mahajan, accompanied by sh. Savi h. Sawarkar, sh. Mazhar elahi,  ms. Sugandha gaur, sh. Prayag sharma along with attendant sh. Kishan singh.
        the itinerary includes visits to sites of historical and artistic importance and man-made wonders in the states of madhya pradesh, uttar pradesh, sikkim, west bengal, orissa, maharashtra, gujarat, and rajasthan.
