Nomination to Degree/Diploma Courses
Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India allocates a few Degree and Diploma seats in institutions at other states for nominees from Delhi. This allocation is under Government of India scheme for reservation of seats for those states and union territories, which lack facilities in some specific fields of technical education. Department of Training and Technical Education is the nominating agency in Delhi for selecting nominees against these seats in institutions located in other states. Advertisement for the nomination including eligibility criteria and the number of seats available in various courses is released in the leading newspapers during July-August every year.
Nominations are made on the basis of merit and as per approved policy of reservation for the different categories.
MODE OF NOMINATION: Merit lists are prepared on the basis of percentage of aggregate of marks obtained in the subjects mentioned below: -
Degree:
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th class of 10+2 pattern.
Diploma:
Mathematics and Science including practical in 10th class, or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th class of 10+2 pattern, as applicable.
