ii College of Art : Merit in the qualifying exam and Aptitude test conducted by College of Art, University of Delhi
iii Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Research : Merit in the qualifying examination
iv Ambedkar Institute of Technology/ Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies : Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University+ Minimum eligibility in the qualifying exam
v Self Financed and Privately – Managed Degree Level Institutions : Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University + Minimum eligibility in the qualifying exam
Diploma Level Programmes
i Full Time Diploma Programmes offered at all BTE affiliated Diploma Level Institutes. : Common Entrance Test conducted by Board of Technical Education, Delhi subject to fulfillment of minimum eligibility in qualifying exam
ii Post Diploma/Part-time Diploma Programmes : Merit in the qualifying examination
Certificate Level Programmes
  Industrial Training Institutes : Merit in the qualifying examination

Note: Information regarding the Entrance Examination appears in the leading newspapers

Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India allocates a few Degree and Diploma seats in institutions at other states for nominees from Delhi. This allocation is under Government of India scheme for reservation of seats for those states and union territories, which lack facilities in some specific fields of technical education. Department of Training and Technical Education is the nominating agency in Delhi for selecting nominees against these seats in institutions located in other states. Advertisement for the nomination including eligibility criteria and the number of seats available in various courses is released in the leading newspapers during July-August every year.

Nominations are made on the basis of merit and as per approved policy of reservation for the different categories.

Degree: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th class of 10+2 pattern.
Diploma: Mathematics and Science including practical in 10th class, or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th class of 10+2 pattern, as applicable.
