History:
Pusa Polytechnic is one of the oldest Institutes established in 1962 by the Government. This Institute is located in Central Delhi near Pusa Road (Chowk/Circle) in the lush green Pusa Campus easily accessible by Bus & Metro Train (Rajendra Place Station) from all areas of Delhi. During a span of 47 years of its existence this Institute has established its reputation amongst Industry and in the Society. It is very popular amongst the students of Delhi region as well as other States of India. Along with good academic record it involves many activities such as Games, NCC, TECOS, TASSK etc.. It has various facilities such as Boys Hostel, Canteen, Indoor Gym, Games etc. It has very good placement records. Many companies conduct campus interviews and Industrial visits are organized for the students. This Polytechnic has well qualified faculty as per AICTE norms and AICTE pay scales/service conditions have been implemented. In this Institute the age of retirement for the teaching staff has been enhanced to 62 years. This Polytechnic provides technical skills through TECOS with cooperation of NGO’s. This Institute is conducting Morning, Evening & Part-Time classes.
