Department of Computer Engineering
Computer Engineering an advanced and emerging area of technology has shown an unprecedented growth in every sphere of activity. A conscious attempt has been made to design the curriculum as per the requirement and need of the industry. Subjects like OOPS, DBMS, System Design, Multimedia Computing etc are being taught besides basic sciences and allied subjects. Six months industrial Training and Project have been made an integral part of the curriculum whereby students can correlate their theoretical knowledge to the practical approach of problem solving. With equal importance given to hardware and software subjects, department maintains well-equipped and modernized DBMS, Software, CAD, Hardware, Multimedia and Networking Laboratories with internet facility. After Successful completion of the course students can secure jobs as Software Engineers, Hardware Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Sr.Programmers and Computer Faculty.
Department of Electronics Engineering
The ECE curriculum provides a wide perspective of the field of electronics and allows the student to decide her future directions. The course has been designed to provide in-depth knowledge of emerging and latest areas of Electronics Engineering like Advanced Microprocessors, Digital Circuits and System Design, Computer Hardware, Communication Engineering, Consumer Electronics etc. From the very beginning, the ECE department has taken the lead in establishing well- equipped and modern Lab facilities. After completion of the course students are employed as engineers in the areas of Quality control, Production, Sales and Servicing and also as Technicians. Students from the ECE branch often decide to pursue BE/B.TECH Studies by lateral Entry.
Department of Fashion Design
Diploma programme in Fashion Design is an area where hobby, academics and business overlap meaningfully. The course contents has been designed to fill the vacuum created by fashions in today’s fast moving world. It also equips the students with all the necessary tools for constructive interaction with industry. Department builds professional competency in students by combining theory with extensive practical training. It introduces technology as a source of major core competency. It is just not computers software and CAD, students are also familiarized with the machines and the equipments used by garment manufacturing and textile industry. In addition to learning the craft and the skills of fashion technology, students are given a thorough understanding of the subjects like Business Management & Apparel Merchandising, Communication Techniques etc.
Department of Civil (Public Health & Environmental) Engineering
An education in civil (public health & environmental) engineering provides an excellent foundation for careers in fields as diverse as engineering design, education and public health, as well as for graduate study in engineering and science.Civil engineering (PHE) is a professional engineering discipline that deals with newly developing areas of civil engineering, including structural analysis and design, engineering materials, geotechnical analysis and design, transportation and Environmental Engineering involves water and air pollution control, recycling, waste disposal, and public health issues as well as knowledge of environmental engineering law. Both programs provide awareness of the sociopolitical context in which civil and environmental engineering problems are solved.
