It has always been endeavour of the Department of Trade & Taxes to make the system transparent & business friendly. In order to further promote & improve business friendly tax regime, the department has introduced “Good Dealer Scheme, 2010”
The eligibility criteria for such dealers shall be as under: -
Should generally not have been a habitual return/tax defaulter in the last three years.
Should not have indulged in any kind of tax-evasion activities and thus faced actions like raid, search, sealing etc., by the Enforcement Branch of the Department during the said period.
Those who are found covered in the ‘Good Dealers Scheme’ as per the above mentioned criteria shall be honoured and shall be given following benefits:
A Certificate and Momento by the Hon’ble Chief Minister/Finance Minister in a function to be organized by the department
No increase in their security deposit for at least one year for issuance of statutory forms.
No inspection/adverse inquiry of such dealers unless specifically ordered by the Commissioner.
The success of Scheme however largely depends upon on active & positive participation of Traders/Market Association of Delhi. The Traders and Market Associations of Delhi are thus requested to send the nominations of at least 50 dealers registered with their association and who fulfill the eligibility criteria for enrolling under “Good Dealer Scheme, 2010”.
