Stamp Duty

Stamp Duty is payable at the time of Registration of property if a property is acquired by way of Sale Deed/Conveyance Deed/Gift Deed :

 

a.   Male @ rate of 6% of the consideration amount or the circle rate of the property applicable in the area, whichever is higher.


b.  Female @ rate of 4% of the consideration amount or the circle rate of the property applicable in the area, whichever is higher.


c. For other deeds as per details in Schedule I of Indian Stamp Act 1899 : Click here.

Mode of payment for Stamp Duty : Through e-stamp  paper to be purchased from any authorized vendor up to a value of Rs. 500/- and for a value exceeding Rs. 500/-  through various banks as per Bank list


Payment Modes:

3. Debit Card

4. NEFT

5. RTGS

6. Account to Account Transfer




Registration fee

a.   Registration fee is 1% of the consideration amount set forth  or value  as per circle rate, whichever is higher  plus Rs. 100/-  for pasting fee.


b.  Relinquishment deed : Rs. 1000/- per instrument plus Rs. 100/-  for pasting fee


c.  Lease deed of immovable property : Rs. 1000/- per instrument plus Rs. 100/-  for pasting fee.


d.  Power of Attorney /Special  Power of Attorney : Rs. 1000/- per instrument plus Rs. 100/-  for pasting fee.


e.   Will and Authority to Adopt : Rs. 500/-  plus Rs. 100/-  for pasting fee
