The Dept. of Radiotherapy, is one of the oldest oncology centre of city providing comprehensive cancer care. This includes treatment of patients with modern radiotherapy facilities and cancer chemotherapy drugs. It is the only tertiary care cancer center of Govt. of NCT Delhi having facility of radiation therapy. All types of cancer cases, referred from all over northern India are treated. This is the only government hospital in Delhi having set up for RT of pediatric cancer patient under anesthesia. The Department is also running post graduate (MD) course of University of Delhi since 1971.
