Department Of Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is an important part of Health Care Program. Occupational Therapy is the use of purposeful activity and various other techniques of treatment with individual who are limited by physical injury or illness, psycho social dysfunction, developmental or learning disabilities or ageing process inorder to maximize independence, prevent disability, maintain health and to rehabilitate the handicap. The function is to restore the patient to his maximum functional capabilities so that he/she is independent in his daily living or requires only minimum assistance. Occupational Therapy dept. mainly deals with prevention, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of physically or mentally disabled or handicapped.
