General Information
Location:
The Institute is located in East Delhi (Trans Yamuna) at Dilshad Garden (Road No.64 and is very close to Nand Nagri and Dilshad Garden, DTC Bus Terminals adjacent to SDN Hospital, G.T.B. Hospital and G.T. Road.
Status of the Hospital:
This Institute (IHBAS) is a tertiary level teaching Institute providing outdoor and indoor services for psychiatric and neurological diseases to all patients from Delhi as well as adjoining States.

* Investigation charges as applicable are billed to govt. serving patients and no charges to patients with family income less than Rs. 3000/- per month.
DRUG DISTRIBUTION:
Most of the medicines prescribed by the doctors are usually available on Pharmacy Counters free of cost. Medicines are usually given for fifteen days to new OPD patients and for one month to old patients.

Post Graduate Teaching Facility:
i) MD Psychiatry course started from 2003 with Two students per year under the aegis of Delhi University. Now it has been increased to 04 students.The Degree recognized by MCI.
ii) DM Neurology course started from 2008 with One Candidate per year under the aegis of Delhi University and seats have been increased to 3 Candidates per year from 2010.The Degree is recognized by MCI.
iii) M. Phil. (Clinical Psychology) course started from October 2004 under the aegis of Delhi University with 15 students per year at present.The Degree recognized by RCI.
iv) DNB Neurology course has been suspended till further information.
