Introduction
Delhi Council for Physiotherapy & Occupational therapy is a statutory body constituted under section 3 of Act No. 7 of 1997 Govt. of NCT Delhi.
As prescribed under section 5 & 18 of this Act one of its functions are:-
- To Coordinate and determine the standards of Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy education at all levels.
- To regulate the practice of the profession by persons possessing recognized Physiotherapy or Occupational therapy qualification;
- To maintain the Registers of Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists for Delhi;
- To advice the Government in matter relating to the requirements of manpower in the field of Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy.
- To assist the Government in regard t continuing education of registered Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists.
Fee Schedule
Following are the charges of Certificates issued by Council. 1. Registration fee:- Rs. 1500/-2. Certificate of Good Standing Rs. 1500/-3. Copy of Act Rs. 50/-
