The hospital is located at Narela sub-city, surrounded by villages; in the North-West region of Delhi. 

 

II. INTRODUCTION

This is  200 bedded hospital. Its main object is to provide free health care services. This hospital was started in 2003 as OPD Services. Since the conceiving of this hospital it has expanded its services time to time & since 23/04/09 it has started 200 bed IPD services with all basic facilities. At present this hospital is providing health care facility to the people of remote area of the Narela Assembly Constituency, and adjoining villages of Sonepat district of Haryana.

All samples for laboratory tests are collected at centralised sample collection centre from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM on the recommendations of doctors from OPD/Casualty/Indoor.

 

ECG & X-Rays are being undertaken on the day of recommendation.

 

DRUG DISTRIBUTION:

Medicines prescribed by the doctors are available as per Delhi Govt. Drug formulary on Pharmacy Counters free of cost. Medicines are usually given for three days for OPD Patients but in special cases as per recommendations of Specialists. 

Separate windows are available for ladies and gents, Senior Citizens, Physically Handicapped patients and Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme cardholders.

INDOORS SERVICES:

This is a 200 bedded hospital.

IV. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.1. Is there any grievance redressal mechanism?

Ans. There is grievance redressal mechanism working in the hospital. Dr Rupendra Kumar, DMS is the nodal officer for the same. Anybody can meet him in room no 106 and submit his grievances. Moreover There are suggestion cum complaint boxes at various prominent places. Finally in case grievance still is not redressed, MS can be contacted.

Q.2. Are there any user charges for the services & the medicines provided to the patients ?

Ans. All the services provided to the patients free of charge.

Q.3. Who are the beneficiaries of the hospital?

Ans. The hospital provides services to all those whoever visit the hospital.

Q.4. Are there any special facilities for senior citizens?

Ans. For senior citizens there is a separate queue at all counters.

 Proposal for perspective plan.

 

The main emphasis’s will be towards filling up of vacant posts of specialist doctors and supporting staffs
for up gradation of services for better patient care. The Additional facilities to be added are proposed as under:-

Ø     Upgrading casualty with Emergency Surgery facilities 24 X 7

Ø     Upgrading Lab Services 24 X 7

Ø     Upgrading X-ray Services 24 X 7

Ø     Upgrading Blood Storage  Services 24 X 7

Ø     Starting of I.C.U 24 X 7

Ø     Starting of Mortuary Services

 

 

Achievements for the year 2010.

 

 

1.                 Eye OT services started on 09 Feb 2010. A total of 89 eye surgeries including Cataract performed till date. No complications reported.

2.                 A total of 07 TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT surgeries conducted by the Orthopedic Department.

3.                 Laproscopic surgeries started. Till date, 10 hernia repair, 8 URS, and 6 total hysterectomy performed using the Laproscope.

4.                 Blood storage center started functioning catering to the requirement of patients requiring blood. Currently, blood is being procured from the Blood Bank in the BSA Hospital, Rohini.

5.                 Ultra sound started functioning after the posting of a Radiologist.

6.                 Skin OPD started functioning.

7.                 Online registration of Births and Deaths is being carried out.

8.         Disability Certification started.
