2.       INTRODUCTION

 

JANAKPURI SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL is a Govt. Hospital. It is a proposed 300 bedded Hospital established in Janakpuri West Delhi, under Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi with a view to provide Super Speciality level health care to people of  Janakpuri and adjoining area of west Delhi with an approximate population of 7-8 Lacs. The Hospital has been constructed in area of 8.82 acre. The Hospital started the services of OPD from 18th Sept.’ 2008.At persent the OPD and supportive services of Laboratory, Radiology, Speech therapy, Occupational and Physiotherapy are operational.

HB%, RBC, PCV, TLC, DLC, ESR, AEC, Peripheral Smear, BT, CT, PT, PTTK, Malaria/ Filarial Smear, Urea Lipid Profile (HDL, TG, LDL, VLDL) RPR, CRP, ASO, Elisa, Widal Test ,Platelet count, S. Amylase, VDRL, RA Factor, S. Cholesterol, Lipid Profile, Australia Antigen, Blood Group. Blood Sugar, Hepatitis B.

URINE/PUS C/S, FNAC, Bone Marrow Aspiration, Urine RE/ME stool RE/ME, Culture: Urine, Stool Sputum, FNAC, Other Microbiological Investigation.

Blood Collection/ other investigation sample – IInd Floor.

III)             DRUG DISTRIBUTOIN (PHARMACY)

 

Medicines prescribed by the doctors are available at Pharmacy Counter, Ground Floor free of cost. Medicines are usually given for three days for OPD patients and for 2 weeks to chronic eg. Hypertension, Diabetes etr patients. Senior Citizen, Physically Handicapped, freedom fighters and beneficiaries of Delhi Govt. Employees Health Scheme are given priority.

v  Cold Drinking water facility in OPD.

v  Wheel Chair and patient transport trolleys in OPD.

v  Ambulance services/CATS for transporting patients to higher centers

                             (The hospital is not having its own ambulance).

v  Parking facilities (Free of cost).

v  Standby Electric Generator.

v  Adequate public conveniences.

v  Conference room.

v  Referral facilities for Economic weaker section (EWS)/ Below Poverty Line (BPL) to Private hospital as per Govt. norms.

v  Do not cause inconvenience to other patients.

v  Help us in keeping the hospital and its surroundings neat and clean.

v  Hospital is a “No Smoking Zone”.

v  Refrain from demanding undue favors from the staff and officers.

         

IV)     FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

                   Q.-1.   Is there any grievance redressal mechanism?

Ans.    Hospital has one officer designated as grievance redressal officer. He may be contacted in AMS office between 12:00 noon and 1:00PM every day.

 

Q.-2.   Are there any user charges for the services & the medicines provided to the patients?

Ans.    All the services provided to the patients except Ultrasound are free. For Ultrasound Rs. 50/- are charged from outdoor patients as per Govt. policy.

Q.-3.   Who are the beneficiaries of the hospital?

Ans.    The hospital services are available to general public and as well to DGEHS beneficiaries.

Q.-4.   Are there any special facilities for senior citizens?

Ans.    The senior citizens are attended on priority.

Q.-5.   Is the hospital is under consideration of Public Private Partnership Policy?

Ans.    Yes, as per Delhi Govt.’s Policy it is under consideration of PPP.

v  Surveillance (CCTVs) in different areas of the hospital have been installed & monitored regularly.

v  Biometric attendance systems is fully functional since commencement of the hospital.

v  CSSD is set up in the basement area.

v  Physiotherapy/ Occupational therapy unit for the hospital is fully equipped with equipments for providing physiotherapy.

v  Hospital has one library cum conference room 40-50 people.

v  Speech therapy is fully functional in this hospital.

v  Water harvesting system in functional the hospital
