This is a general secondary 100 bedded (District) level Hospital. Its main objective is to provide minimum free basic health care services. Standards of services may be influenced by workload & availability of resources at that particular time. Yet it is intended that all users receive courteous & prompt attention

Drug Distribution:

 

Most of the medicines prescribed by the doctors are usually available at the Pharmacy Counters Room No. 15, free of cost. Medicines are usually given for three days for OPD patients. Senior Citizens, Physically handicapped, freedom fighters and beneficiaries of Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme are given priority.

 

Food as advised by the treating Physician is provided free of cost to indoor patients only.

 

Visitor Timings:

Summer - 5.00 PM - 7.00 PM

Winter - 4.00 PM - 6.00 PM

 

Casualty & Emergency Services

 

These services including gynecological and obstetrical emergency & Pediatric emergency services are available round the clock  in the casualty block near the main gate of the hospital.

Duty Doctor is available round the clock. Specialist doctors are available on call whenever required. One Emergency operations theatre and X-ray facilities are available round the clock. In case of any difficulty contact Casualty Medical officer and if not solved, contact Medical Superintendent.

 

Operation Facilities

 

There are 5 operation theatres tables in the hospital. One is in the casualty block while the other four are located on the 1st floor.

 

IV. Frequently Asked Questions:

 

Q1.

Is there any grievance redressal mechanism ?

Ans

It has been decided that visitors who wish to meet the Medical Superintendent may give their grievances between 2.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. in the office every Friday. The M.S. along with the concerned officers would meet people from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and attend to their grievances. The grievances would as far as possible be redressed across the table & feedback provided to the complainant.

Are there any user charges for the services & the medicines provided to the patients ?

Ans

All the services provided to the patients except ultrasound & color Doppler are free. For ultrasound Rs. 50/- & color Doppler Rs. 100/- are charged for outdoor patients.

Who are the beneficiaries of the hospital ?

Ans

The hospital provides services to general public.

Q4.

Are there any special facilities for senior citizens ?

Ans

For senior citizens there is a separate queue at all counters. A separate Sunday Clinic is run on Sundays from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
