Aruna Asaf Ali Govt. Hospital (Civil Hospital) is presently having three functional components. Firstly, the main hospital complex at 5 Rajpur Road,second the Subzi Mandi Mortuary and the third, Poor House Hospital at Sewa Kutir, Kingsway Camp. The main hospital complex is having 100 beds while the Poor House Hospital is having 60 beds.

1. T.B. Clinic (DOT)
  A TB Clinic has already been opened in this hospital for the benefit of the people.
2. Stree Shakti Abhiyan
  Stree Shakti Abhiyan counter is to guide the female patients who are referred to AAA Hospital from the camps.
  Delhi Govt. employees/pensioners are being attended through a separate clinic in the OPD and also a separate counter in the dispensary has already been opened.
  Felicitation Counter: A counter to help and guide the people regarding various services is being opened shortly. However, various display boards/banners about the facilities available and displaying important health messages have been displayed at prominent places in the hospital.
3. Homeopathy Clinic
  A Homeopathy clinic is already working in the hospital.
4. Family Welfare Programmes
  Tubectomy and Copper T insertion etc, and extensive motivation for family planning is being carried out.
5. No Scalpal Vasactomy
  AAA Hospital is district center for No Scalpel Vasectomy.
6. Casualty
  Casualty Department is in operation round the clock in the hospital.
7. Sunday Clinics
  As per policy of the govt. we are also arranging Sunday Clinics since Sept.,98 on every Sunday for treating senior citizens.
8. Medical Examinations
  In addition to attending patients, this hospital is also conducting medical examinations of non-gazetted employees of following departments:
    Delhi Police
    12 Departments of Delhi Govt (Legislative assembly, GAD, GTB HOSPITAL, Home Guards and C.D., Raj Niwas, Dte of Family Welfare, Gurudwara Elections, Delhi Gazetter, Planning Deptt., Dte. of PFA and Urban Development)
9. Subzi Mandi Mortuary
  The Subzi Mandi Mortuary of this hospital is the biggest mortuary in India conducting post mortems of dead bodies from West Distt, North West Distt, North Distt, East Distt and Najafgarh Subdivision of South West distt.
10. Post Mortem Examinations
  During 2001-2002, 1904 post mortems were conducted.
11. Poor House Hospital
  Poor House Hospital situated in the Sewa Kutir complex at Kingsway camp is also, under the administrative control of this hospital wherein beggars and destitute of Dte of Social Welfare are being treated. The bed capacity of this hospital is 60 beds.
 
 
Proposals In The Pipeline
 
1. An Ayurvedic dispensary/unit is to be opened shortly.
2. Proposal for the purchase of following equipments is under the process in the TAC of H&FW Deptt.
(a) Ultrasound probe
(b) Elisa Reader
(c) Anesthesia machine.
