CITIZEN CHARTER FOR WORK PLAN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RWAS/NGOs Activities of Delhi Parks & Gardens Society
1. |
Create a green environment in Delhi. |
2. |
Identify vacant spaces and take up greening projects for increasing green cover in Delhi. |
3. |
Work with local bodies to take up greening works in Parks and Gardens. |
4. |
Involve RWAs in maintaining parks and gardens. |
5. |
Give funds to RWAs involved in greening activities. |
6. |
Provide incentives to NGOs and motivate corporate to take up greening activities. |
7. |
Hold competitions and grant rewards to encourage greening. |
8. |
Take projects for planting trees and shrubs in avenues and create woodlands in various localities with species conductive to the Delhi's eco- environment scenario. |
9. |
Provide technical advice . |
10. |
Develop and maintain parks & nurseries on its own. |
