Directorate of Economics & Statistics is the nodal department of National Capital Territory of Delhi for collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination of statistical data and information. The Directorate of Economics & Statistics also works as Office of Chief Registrar Births & Deaths. It complies and co-ordinate the activities of registration of Birth and Deaths in Delhi with the local bodies viz. NDMC, MCD and Delhi Cantonment. The information on the various important indicators is available on the website of this Directorate. This includes consumer price index number for industrial workers, Reports of various rounds of Socio-Economic Surveys, Reports of Registration of Births and Deaths in Delhi, Industrial Statistics, Building Material Reports, Reports on Budgetary Transaction, State Income etc. Besides this many important links like Census, RTI and Citizen Charter have also been included. A link for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) has been introduced in the website to help the visitors.
