For SC/ST Certificate
| 1. What documents are required ? |
 |
Application form completed in all respect |
 |
Attestation by Member of Parliament, MLAs, Gazetted Officers,Councilors and Member of SC/ST/OBC welfare Board certifying the caste of applicant. |
 |
Copy of SC/ST certificate of father, brother, sister of his/her blood relative from paternal side, if available |
 |
No Affidavit is required to be furnished by the applicants who append copy of SC Certificate of their father side issued from Delhi state. However, in case of applicants who applied on the basis of SC Certificates issued by other states the affidavit is required. |
 |
Two Passport Size photographs, one attested and one plain |
 |
Residence proof (Voter-I card/Ration card/Passport/Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Telephone Bill etc) |
 |
Birth Certificate or School Certificate |
 |
Where no SC/ST Certificate has been issued to any member of applicant�s family, in that case, two Government servants should certify that the applicant is permanently known to him and he belongs to the caste (name the caste) which is SC/ST, along with the attested copies of their identity Cards |

In case of a married woman, the local enquiry is conducted at the place of residence prior to marriage as well as the place of residence after marriage |

Note :
(i) All documents needs to be attested
(ii) All documents can be attested by MPs/MLAs and Gazetted Officers.
(iii) Wrong attestation will invite consequences irrespective of the person verifying the caste or documents. |

Note : A local enquiry is conducted in all cases to verify applicant's residence/caste

3. Where to apply ? |
 |
You can approach to the SDM of your area or you can also approach the concerned O/o the Deputy Commissioner during 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on any working day. |

| 4. What is the Response time ? |
 |
SC Delhi State certificates are issued in 60 days ( Service Level Agreement Implemented ). |
 |
In case the verifcation of the certificate is required from the authority who has issued the certificate , you will get the certificate after receiving the verification from that authority. |

For OBC Certificate
1. What documents are required ? |

 |

Copy of OBC certificate of father, brother, sister of his/her blood relative from paternal side, if available |

No Affidavit is required to be furnished by the applicants who append copy of OBC Certificate of their father side issued from Delhi state. However, in case of applicants who applied on the basis of OBC Certificates issued by other states the affidavit is required. |

Affidavit showing the caste, income and agricultural land owned by the applicant, if any |
