This Commission is a quasi-judicial authority constituted by the Lt. Governor of Government of National Captital Territory of Delhi vide Notification dated 20.04.1993 as a permanent body in pursuance of the judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 16th Novemeber 1992 in the CWP No.930 of 1990 ( Indira Sawhney and Others. Vs. Union of India and Others.)
