Execution of subsidy program

THE MANNER OF EXECUTION OF SUBSIDY PROGRAMMES, INCLUDING THE AMOUNT ALLOCATED AND THE DETAILS OF BENEFICIARIES OF SUCH PROGRAMMES
 
Environment Department at present executes Subsidy Programmes for Setting up of Bio-degradable waste to biofuel plants using BARC developed NISARGRUNA Technology
 
  • Department of Environment, Govt. of NCT of Delhi is providing fiscal incentives to BARC developed NISARGRUNA Technology by providing a subsidy to the tune of 33.3% for plants up to a capacity of 0.5 t / day subject to maximum subsidy of Rs. 5.00 lakhs for insitutions/ Govt offices/ Group Housing Societies/ Resident Welfare Associations, hostels, canteen of educational institutions and non-profit Organizations/ non-commercial institutions, subject to maximum subsidy of Rs one crore in a Financial Year.
 
  • For commercial establishments, the minimum capacity of plant shall be above 0.5 T/ Day just to encourage them to initiate such decentralized management system and also for replacing conventional fossil fuel, a subsidy to the tune of 33% of the total cost subject to maximum subsidy of Rs. 10 lakhs, to given on first come first serve basis subject to maximum subsidy of Rs. one crore in a Financial Year.
