Sales Tax Advisory Committee, Vyapar Bhawan, I.P. Estate, New Delhi-02

• The body is in the form of a Committee.

• Role of the body is advisory in nature.

• The committee consists of the representatives from Trade Associations, Sales Tax Bar Association (Regd.) and other representatives of the department.

• Only representatives/members can participate in the committee’s meetings, which are not open to general public.

• Minutes of the meetings are prepared and circulated amongst its members after each meeting.

Complaints Committee for Prevention of Sexual Harassment to Working Women in Trade & Tax Department.

• The body is in the form of a Committee.

• Role of the body is to inquire into the complaints of sexual harassment within the department and recommend the action to be initiated in each case to State Complaints Committee under the aegis of Delhi Commission for Women.

• The committee consists of three female officers/officials of the department.
