Subject : Filing of Revised Return for the month of August, 2010

   1. This is in continuation of Circular No.05 of 2010-11 and with reference to the amendments made by the Govt.of Delhi in section 9(1), 9(2)(g), 10(5) and DVAT-16 Return Form.

  2. In view of the consultation held with the Finance Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, the dealers are directed to file their Returns for the month of August, 2010 without taking into consideration of the calculation of the ITC to be carried forward on closing stock and Annexure-2 A and Annexure-2 B may not be filed with the returns. The hard copy of these Annexures may be filed at a later stage with the revised Returns if these amendments are sustained.

  3. This issues with the prior approval of Commissioner (T&T).
