Citizen Charter
Principal Accounts Office, Government of NCT of Delhi, comprising of 25 Pay & Accounts Offices, GPF Cell and Pension Cell, provides the following services :
| 1. |
Payments in respect of all schemes implemented by Govt. of NCT of Delhi. |
| 2. |
Payment of salary, personal claims, settlement of pensionery benefits, Maintenance of GPF accounts and final settlement there of including other contingent payments to the staff of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. |
| 3. |
Payment of pension. |
| 4. |
Maintenance of accounts of Receipt of Revenue collected by Banks/Departments on behalf of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. |
| 5. |
Receipt of the amount of all Centrally Sponsored Schemes and further disbursement / authorization to concern authority. |
| 6. |
Expenditure control and maintenance of Accounts of all the above transactions and further settlement of accounts with various agencies. |
| 7. |
To hold Pension Adalat for redressal of grievances of Retirees/pensioners. |
Though this department is not directly involved with the general public, its activities have its impact indirectly on public.
The forms used for settlement of all claims are provided by the respective administrative departments/Head of Offices. However, forms are also available on the Web site of this department.
